1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing Alphaion, creating an account, signing in through Google or LinkedIn, submitting a form, requesting a quotation, or using our products, content, or services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the applicable service.
2. Alphaion Services
Alphaion provides sensor technology information, products, quotations, technical services, lessons, blogs, educational material, user accounts, dashboards, and related website features. Features may change, be improved, become unavailable, or be subject to additional written terms.
3. Eligibility and Accurate Information
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. Where consent or supervision is required for a minor, a parent, guardian, institution, or other authorised person must provide it. Information supplied to Alphaion must be accurate, current, and not misleading.
4. Accounts and Security
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for protecting your login access.
- You must promptly notify Alphaion if you believe an account has been compromised or used without permission.
- You may not create accounts through deception, impersonation, automated abuse, or for unlawful purposes.
- We may require email, phone, identity, organisation, or security verification where reasonably necessary.
5. Google Authentication
Alphaion offers optional Google OAuth sign-in for public users and, where configured, authorised administrators. When you choose Google sign-in, Google authenticates your account and provides Alphaion with limited identity information needed to create or access your Alphaion account.
The public sign-in flow requests openid, email, and profile. Alphaion uses this information for authentication, verified-email handling, account linking, fraud prevention, session creation, and related support. Alphaion does not receive your Google password and does not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or other Google Workspace content through this login flow.
Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's own terms and policies. Alphaion's handling of information received from Google is described in our Google OAuth privacy section and follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
6. LinkedIn Authentication
LinkedIn sign-in is optional. If selected, LinkedIn may provide a verified email, account identifier, name, and profile image needed to create or access an Alphaion account. LinkedIn remains responsible for its authentication platform, and its own terms and privacy policy also apply.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Break laws, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or submit unlawful or harmful content.
- Attempt unauthorised access, bypass authentication, probe vulnerabilities, disrupt infrastructure, or introduce malicious code.
- Scrape, copy, reproduce, resell, or systematically extract Alphaion content or data without permission or a lawful basis.
- Misrepresent affiliation with Alphaion, impersonate another person, manipulate quotations, or misuse contact and communication features.
- Use automated systems in a way that places unreasonable load on the website or interferes with other users.
8. Educational and Technical Content
Blogs, lessons, product information, simulations, technical descriptions, and other materials are provided for general informational or educational purposes. They are not a substitute for professional, medical, regulatory, safety, engineering, or legal advice. You remain responsible for testing, validation, risk assessment, and appropriate professional review before relying on information in a real-world application.
9. Products, Quotations, and Services
Website descriptions and quotations are invitations to discuss a transaction and may be subject to availability, technical review, quantity, specifications, taxes, shipping, payment terms, lead times, and separate written agreements. A binding sale or service engagement arises only when Alphaion expressly confirms it under applicable commercial terms.
10. Intellectual Property
Alphaion and its licensors retain rights in the website, brand, designs, software, text, images, videos, lessons, product materials, and other content. You may view and use content for lawful personal, educational, or internal evaluation purposes, but may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or publicly exploit it without permission except where law expressly allows.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to Google, LinkedIn, social networks, hosting services, CDNs, email providers, and other third-party services. Alphaion does not control their independent terms, availability, security, or content. Use of those services may be governed by separate agreements between you and the provider.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users or systems, investigate misuse, enforce these terms, comply with law, or respond to security risks. You may stop using the services at any time and may request account or personal-data deletion subject to legal, security, and record-retention requirements.
13. Availability and Disclaimers
We work to keep Alphaion reliable and secure, but services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or that all information will always be complete or current. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alphaion is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use the website, third-party services, or informational content. Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms when services, authentication methods, business practices, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their effective date where permitted by law.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by applicable laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that may apply in another jurisdiction. We encourage users to contact us first so concerns can be reviewed and resolved constructively.
